Al Ahly will face AS Vita Club at 3:00 PM, Cairo time, on Tuesday in the fourth fixture of the CAF Champions League group stage at Stade des Martyrs.
The Red Eagles will be looking forward to achieving an important win against DR Congo’s AS Vita Club, which will be crucial to the team’s journey in defending our title and winning the CAF Champions League trophy for a record of ten times.
Al Ahly currently sit in third place with a total of four points from three games, behind AS Vita Club who share the same numbers of points but are in second place by goal difference.
In our last game against AS Vita Club in the CAF Champions League group stage, Al Ahy’s football team was held to a 2-2 draw despite creating many chances in the game.
On a similar note, Al Ahly’s football first-team head coach, Pitso Mosimane is fully aware of the importance of today’s game as he stated in the pre-match press conference that the Red Eagles must win the game.
Moreover, he revealed that the team is fully prepared for today’s game and that he believes in the abilities of all our players.
Al Ahly’s goalkeeper and captain, Mohamed El Shenawy also mentioned that the players are focused on winning the game.
El Shenawy added that he believes that the team is able to overcome AS Vita Club’s challenge.
